Donna Schuster Painting

There is a lovely small art museum near my work.  I walk over there occasionally during my lunch hour.  One of the paintings in their permanent collection is "On the Beach" by Donna Schuster.   Donna Schuster (1883-1953) was on the faculty of the Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles and spent summers in Laguna Beach where she had a second home.  I love this painting so much that I decided to paint a copy of it - just for my own enjoyment.  It is not exactly the same - I couldn't help put a little bit of my interpretation into it!
